The eVisitor system is used in Croatia for registering and deregistering tourists and collecting and processing data on accommodation service providers and their accommodation facilities, and is extremely important for calculating and controlling the collection of tourist tax as well as for processing and analyzing data for real-time statistical reports.
The tourist board responsible for the area in which the facility is located issues user data (username, password and TAN table for the use of the eVisitor system) to the taxpayer. All taxpayers can log in to the eVisitor system without using the TAN list.
If they have one of the accepted credentials below, registration in the system is possible by selecting the option “Registration via NIAS (e-Citizens). The taxpayer only needs to come to the competent tourist board for the first time and when taking over the data he must present an identification document and a decision on the provision of services or in the case of the owner of a holiday home and apartment and a resident of the municipality / city.
